London, Ontario's baseball history

[quote:5d872387f3="Runnin' Rebel"]Hey BC, checked out the website for London's baseball history....VERY interesting.

Didn't know about Greasy Neale's and Moon Gibson's Canadian connection. Nor did I know that Lablatt Stadium is the oldest continous site for baseball in North America.

Sounds like you know more than me, now, RR. I lived in London from 1988 to 1995 and didn't know anything about its baseball history. Never even went to Labbatt Park or saw any games. It wasn't until I decided to move the Maple Leafs down the highway and was looking for a name that I stumbled upon this wealth of minor league baseball history. I hope my Tecumseh's can do the tradition proud.

I still couldn't figure out how to check for available players so I filled out my card with .75 guys. I will be active in waivers!

Off-topic but after five years let's consider re-alignment....Shuffle the order of the divisions and see how the league shapes up.

I like the divisional rivals we have in the east, but we could mix it up after 5 seasons.
