Adam, it's a regular league (no theme) with a bunch of vets in which I regularly get pummeled. I believe there are FRL's in the other Sporting News games as well.

The FRL - Friendly Rivalry League - originally came about in January 2002. Its goal has always been to promote friendly yet competitive fun. Hence why I go with choose your own divisions - as it allows you to decide which owners you'd like to take on, and hopefully get to know them a tad better as the season progress's. I've lost count of the # of FRLs, I think this is the 14th or 15th FRL, and the 5th that I've run in BTT80s. FRLs have also been run in ATG/ATG II, and all 200x leagues from 2001 through 2005.

There was also a FRKL (Friendly Rivalry Keeper League) which unfortunately was shelved after Season II of 2005, due partially to TSNs move to these new forums.

All owners are welcome to sign up, as alternates, as seating is first-come first serve for previous FRL owners, and then whatever is left as Alternates. Alternates will be admitted to this version of FRL Monday morning, assuming there are any spots still remaining at that time.
