Interesting note on the change of Draft Picks -- Qk only moves up two spots but gets to jump over me (and FD). :x

PS -- Qk is setting the pace for lowest amount of players on his roster heading into the FA Draft. He currently is at 36 which means he would get 4 additional picks on top of the ones he will get for his MINIMUM 5 drops. Note -- the minimum STILL applys regardless of how many people are on your roster!!! ;) Also, he has one extra pick coming thru trade so he will have to drop an additional player for that so a MINIMUM of 6 drops in his case. Keep this all in mind folks -- it was in the e-mail I sent this morning. :D

I think it shows how badly I wanted Sizemore rather than how much I wanted to get rid of Bonderman. Bonderman is a top 10 "youngster SP" prospect, but I needed a long-term answer at CF after trading away Andruw Jones in my deal for Hafner, and Sizemore is it. And of course, he's a lefty. :lol: I gave up a good young SS in Betancourt as well, and Hawpe is developing as a hitter, so those stung a bit, but now the pieces on my team are starting to fit.

DT, sorry it didn't work out on Bonderman, but when KD mentioned Sizemore was in play I had to drop other plans. Let's keep in touch on other potential stuff though....

On the draft spots, that was key for me 'cuz Sandy often takes the guys I want right before I do (at least he did last time we drafted when I was drafting for Cubit), and FD also tends to target some of the same guys I usually do, so hopefully I'll avoid some of that "DOH" feeling this time around... :P

Those draft picks were deal-breakers Sandy - no way I could pry all three youngsters away without them. I figured you'd be p*sed, but had to make the deal - I need starting pitching and a good defensive SS. Hawpe is a LH bonus in case Hermida or Gomes don't pan out long term. I tried to get Halladay out of DT for Sizemore but he wasn't biting on that. :(
