welll, if memory serves me well Biggie also swept me to open the season in LOTO warmup waaaaaay back when the cards had barely been out... that team went on to win 90+ ...here's hoping the "Big Sweeping" Biggie charms me for a second time.

...of course it could be a sign of 97 more losses to come :shock:

Sorry Lee...I like my top 3 pitchers of Pedro, Beuhrle and AJ. This is the most I've spent this year on starting pitching, and with a few value guys on "O" I like this squad pretty good. If Neifi can avoid a 15 gamer I think I'll do pretty well. Let's hope that statement won't be "the kiss of death".

I noticed four teams are on pace to go 162-0. :wink:

BTW, had a power surge yesterday morning which fried my motem so I'm on dial-up for a couple of days.

Yeah, I liked your team right off the bat. My big problem was that I just couldn't seem to fit my pitching staff to the teams in this division, and I'm going to end up paying the price. (Exhibit A, Unit, who just isn't going to do well at Cell or Wrigley). He should be fine in my park, but that just doesn't cut here.

Still, I'm not going to bat .160 or sport a 6.75 ERA, so I can only go up from here. I'll admit I opted for some risky choices here instead of playing it safe, just to see how some of these cards would perform. It's a luxury you sort of have with the low waiver penalty early on. First night isn't promising... :x

I am happy to be 1-2 after scoring a whopping 7 runs at home.
HAL pulled Clemens after 5 innings after only giving up a solo HR (90 PC). The following game, Pettite went 6.1 innings giving up 6 runs on 11 hits (131PC)!! It's good to see that HAL is on the ball!! :evil:

Thanks Stoney. I do know that SOM is out to get me. When I check the little boxes such as "slow hook", I do know that my settings fall into a black hole and HAL laughs at me along with his fellow cyber buddies!! :cry:
