GBBR II - GET CUMMINGS 2 !!!

This may sound weird, but...

I find that HAL manages my pitchers best when I barely check anything - with the exception of closer and setup man and the innings I want them. I basically leave the SP's alone unless they are between 5-9 balance on 1 side and the other side is horrible. Then I will check avoid the weak side and quick hook. I NEVER check slow hook on anyone. I find when I do, they will stay in for 13 hits and 10 runs sometimes.

Robert, I too do not check much at all. Like you I find the less checked the better. I will limit the cheaper relievers depending on match-ups for that day. Few slow hooks if any.

I only use the "Slow Hook" for the stud pitchers only...especially when that pitcher is tired...but is still much better than any of my relievers. Anyway, I figure that HAL must have taken Clemen's age into consideration when he pulled him after 5 innings. It's a long season!! :?

wife does when i get home from work?
since. on ALL of my teams, I never have a pitcher that can pitch, I PUT SLOW hook into ALL the relief pitchers and QUICK hook into all the starting pitchers - that way, i figure, - my slow hook guys will only go 3 - 4 innings - AND - my fast hook guys will only go 3-4 innings!!!!!

The Eastern Division!! You guys are all "do or die" up there! 4 series=4 sweeps.

I got an unlikely road sweep with Ray King picking up two wins! I bet he doesn't get another win all season. 8) Clemens, Pettite, and Rivera are all bugging Ray for pitching advice this morning!

Even though I don't like getting swept (obviously) the East Division gives me a chuckle. Every team is 3-0 at home and 0-3 on the road.

A three game sweep for the Swarmers, despite being outhit in EACH game of the series. How embarrasing (for me... ). My team BA did skyrocket to .175. I'm lucky to have won a game, much less three. I'm still willing to count them in the win column, but very sheepishly.

Another bizarre (and wonderful) night for me in GBBR. Two ninth inning rallies contribute to another sweep.

Big Papi - .226 0 HR, 1 RBI, Dan Johnson, .069 BA, Furcal .039, Abreu .167, Michaels .184.

And I'm in first place? What next, Tom dominating the league?? Oh, ah, never mind.

Something has to give. I should be swept by Jeep here any time now....
