Well, guess what? I'LL be out of town tomorrow, and part of Saturday.

Looks like we may have to wait longer than we thought (do'h!)

[quote:372a1a9100]Man, I am sweating it out. Think I shoulda pulled the trigger on the trade with Adam Phoenix, 'cuz it's possible I could've gotten both my teams in the 11-14 range, rather than 6 and 19. Yes - let the second guessing begin![/quote:372a1a9100]

So you don't sweat to much Honest, I actully posted a message here telling you I was pulling my trade proposal off the table, literally at the same moment you made your first round choice. So I deleted my post from this thread.

 Damn you, vile adam phoenix! Thou leptus leering, cogging knave! Thou black-footed cur! Thou...

(Shakespearean rant trails off).

Well, that's good to know. I think you made a very good move there. I think middle drafters might be able to fill holes more easily than beg-end drafters. I am sitting here waiting to see what happens (just fer grins). I have a prior engagement (work-related) at 6:30 CST.

I agree Honest, which is why I pulled the proposal back, there are still alot of really good teams available that at 11 I should still be able to pick a team I actually want, and then with only two more spots til I pick again, I should do alright hopefully.

Was hoping to see next two picks. Oh, well. I'll check later tonight. We're stuck until genevajack gets back in town anyway.

I like your pick Billings. The Blue Jays have the most good players that are 5 year guys of any team. You will have your own personal minor league system that no one else can touch (unless they are already on your active roster).

It is interesting that 6 of the first 7 teams selected are from the AL. Is that a coincidence or is there a reason for that I wonder?

Since all the picks before mine were AL teams that means that there will only be 3 AL teams left to pick from for my 2nd pick. At least I get to pick. Rich Swerb, who got the first pick in the draft, won't get to pick his 2nd team at all. He just gets the last remaining NL team.

Well LM I thought/hoped the PIT team would fall to me @7. I agreed with you they were not great at anything but well rounded. I think this will be a great league to play in :o :o
