Huge series tonight Lee at your place. I'm looking to win one game out-right and then try to steal one with 2 unearned runs in the 9th to win a 1-run game. :wink:

We should have a contest of what day (if any) Clemens and Pettite get a win. So far here are some interesting stats:

Pettite and Clemens- 6 starts ($19.57M payroll)= 0-2 Record
Tavarez and King- 11 appearances ($1.08M payroll)= 3-0 record

Don't ya' just love baseball?

Tom has obviously struck some sort of twisted deal with Satan. How else do you explain his 9-3 record, a team named Paris Hilton, and only 3 hitters......Ensberg/Manny/Teixiera hitting 18 HRs and 55 RBIs in 12 games? Those 3 players combine to have more RBIs than 9 ENTIRE teams in our league!!

Yo Texas Tom, you're coming to see us tonight!! Please leave your over achieving sluggers at home. So far Blanton and Pettite haven't been able to get anyone out!! Waste of payroll they are!!

However, with the mighty Hiltons arriving, Joe and Andy have promised to keep their suckiness to a minimum. With that kind of confidence from my players, I feel pretty good about the series tonight!

the "boys" of Paris are SURE ready to ride a "deadhorse" tonight (they DO have SOME experience in that) after the embarrasement of losing two games in ONE night!!!! Our behind the scenes manager and CEO (Nicky) says that will NEVER happen again - a Hilton getting spanked!
