Thanks to KD for udating tha draft page.

Guys I JUST NOW finally have interent capability, but I am at work on the road so bear with me in updating all the proper threads, rosters, etc.

Thx for your patience.

Once concern I have with these multiple pick trades (and I tried to raise it when we discussed and voted on that proposal) is that you could trade 6 picks away rducing your roster to 3x knowing that you are still going to get picks back at the end of those rounds. Is there really then an incentive NOT to make deals like this? I realize that it will be later rounds but in a draft like this there still will be decent players left.

My thinking may be warped here and please let me know -- I have slept like a combined 8 hours the past 3 nights -- worrying about work stuff and all -- it's our fist event of the year and the first on e with me as our new crew chief.

I just worry that somehow we are affecting integrity here is all.

Please remember the Fowldawg col. which states that you have to drop as many players as pick rounds as you have traded away (ie; if you trade a 6th round pick -- you have to drop at least 6 players).

Thx,

Sandy

I don't think it is a problem- it is kind of like picking up the last free agents to fill out your roster.

I don't think it is a problem at this moment, but could become one in the future.

So I think an easy solution would be to set a minimum roster size that you cannot drop below - number to be decided by agreement of all the managers. I would suggest we set it between 20 & 25.

KD,

Not questioning your logic, just that I am very slow at the moment and I don't get it. In what way not dropping below a certain number works in re: to multiple pick trades?

For example in order for Hawk to use his picks plus stoney's he has to drop 9 players, right? 4 from stoney's 1,2,4 & 6 rounds plus his regular 5. So then at one point his roster will go down to at least 31. If I understand you correctly what you are saying is that if there's a minimum it'll prevent those trades both from the person givng them and from the persn taking them?

-Sorry guys vewy, vewy groggy today. Groggy and slow.

I too dont see a problem with the trading for multiple picks. Each season there should be a few teams that for whatever reason are going to have to reload. My team is a perfect example of this.Even if I didnt acquire Stoneys 4 picks I still would be dropping 15 or more players very easily. My team just is not good at all while there are other teams in the league that are loaded and might only need to drop the required minimum of 5.I definitely dont like the idea where every team should be forced to only protect 25 players(as is the case in USKLII)Stoney's team just might be 1 or 2 players away from winning a championship so he had the right bargaining chips to go get that player.Neither one of us should have to be penalized for trying to put the best possible team on the field every season
