Cost is determined by TSN not Strat-o-Matic. So while the cards have been released we must wait until TSN releases the on-line version for player costs.

REALLY?????

How the heck do they know how to cost them out???? I mean, isn't the cost based on SOMs data? I figure SOM would give the cost to TSN, and TSN would just post it.

Good Dr. (I presume)...you have much to learn. TSN has a double secret formula for pricing players. They don't just let anyone in on it. However, they do let about a dozen or so vets(G.M's just like you and me...sorta) of the game get involved to a degree. See...in the early years(4-5 ago now) of Strat TSN style there were some very obvious steals with the original TSN system of valuing players. If you could get 2-3 of these steals you were pretty much post season bound. Now, to TSN's credit they listened to the masses(those 12 or so "selected" vets) and made certain adjustments...what they are/were us regular folks don't get to know. To this very day(and I mean this very day as I am sure they are in the process as I type) TSN still involves this panel of vets in dry running the new season and helping to adjust pricing. Now you ask... Who are these masked G.M's who not only get exposure to the set before the others but also help to set the pricing structure ...well there is no public record of them so I can't really say for sure...but you can be certain that many of them can be found at the top of the manager ratings list. To their and TSN's credit the pricing structure has improved over the years.

Well, that is certainly unfair ... how do I avoid getting in a league with these guys ... it's like a Little Leaguer playing baseball with a Major leaguer.

This game is built so that the [b:8a5220e677]slightest[/b:8a5220e677] advantage can mean a lot more wins ...
