Why are there no Strat-O-Matic prizes?

Bodie, if Doc is your enforcer and protector, you may want to "up" your life insurance!!
I doubt there are many bullies in the is world afraid of a Tax Accountant wearing a green visor carrying around his 15 year old over-sized "laptop" computer! 8)

Of course, you could use Doc to write off all the lunch money you lost to bullies as "Charitable Contributions". Doc could come in handy around tax season!

Kev,

What you fail to realize is that we are nearing Tax Day and, as we all know, you don't mess with the Tax Man after Jan. 29 when all the End of Year stuff goes out.

He is on edge and may just lose it at any moment. If you continue to talk trash at me, I will let him loose on you and you will soon regret it.

I may even have him audit you........  8)

Bodie....you are absolutely right! It's February and Doc may have transformed into a wolverine already!! Hopefully, by the end of April, he has settled back into his harmless old self. The same Andy who routinely ends his Strato season with 70-92 records so the rest of us feel good about our teams. He is so unselfish!! I will just avoid him the next couple of months while questionable characters are giving him their tax information and wanting him to find obscure loopholes!
I used Doctax last year. He was able to write my Meth Lab off as a dependent!! Now that is creative!

FWIW...

I've got 2 patients who are corporate accountants and they tell me this is actually a slower time than you would imagine.

and BTW doc...I'm guilty as charged, of picking on Bodie. I mean c'mon...there's lots of material there to go on.

ie. His defense for the pre-card draft:
LF: Carlos Lee 5(+1)e7
CF: Juan Pierre 2(+3)e0
SS: Edgar Renteria 3e14
C: Michael Barrett 4(+2)e1
1B: Ryan Howard 4e14

I mean, can you blame me? I'm gonna draft Bengie Molina (the world's slowest baseball player ever) and use him on aggressive base running/stealing when I play him.

Hey, is there still room in that league??? and could I be in Bodie's division!!?? :D

BTW, are people still playing the 2006 game or are they saving up for the '07 game? I have two '06 teams about halfway done and 3/4 way done but I think that's all I'm going to be doing.

Doing waivers on my last '06 team unless I win some credits.

Saving up for '07 now.

Bodie, I will trade you Brad Hawpe. The man with the 4 in RF and -2 arm. His D fits along the lines of Lee in LF a 5 and Pierre and his +3 arm in CF. Just send me Abreu and we will call it even. Its a nice pre-season trade.

Hmm Frank,

Gonna have to think on that one..........still thinking.........ahhh NOOOO

Don't you guys worry, I am sure the spring will bring many a chuckle at my expense with that team......uuuuggghhh. I have the Ratings book and Disc. and things don't look too good for my team.

My team is gonna need some serious work to make it usable, that is for sure.
