It's a tough call to make, being in such esteemed company, but I am going to go out on a limb and predict that my team will win 90+ games and make the playoffs.

I will have a look at the other teams in the league in the next few days and share some other thoughts.

With another pitching staff, I would see Bombers finish first with ease in the East. With the current staff, he'll lose so many games against teams in his division, that it will be hard to compensate with wins outside his division. That said, the other teams in the East appear to me to have several flaws as well, so let's say Bombers by a nose. To be honest, I see the East as the weakest division.

Central is tough to judge with mcsoupy still with 3M to spend. I like his team very much though. If he spends his money wisely, I will consider his team with the best chance to win the Central. If he stays at 77M, then I'd put the money on qksilver. I see cummings and cminton finishing relatively far behind.

1-mcsoupy (if he gets to 80M wisely)
2-qksilver--wildcard
3-cummings
4-cminton

I'll refrain to predict my division, but I'll just say that I truly consider it to be the tougher division. with perhaps kaviksdad and spicki as my biggest challengers. The tough battles in our division, I believe, will prevent the second best team in the division to make the playoffs.

I haven't really looked much at the league but it's hard to argue against a 3rd place prediction when I have such a poorly distributed budget.

OK, my thoughts on the east:

Let me just say that this is not based on any type of rigerous analysis, just my gut feeling from extensively scanning through the rosters of each team and comparing each team with the stadium they are in.

3 - Kai
4 - Machine

I don't really like betting against qksilver because I respect him so much. It would not surprise me at all to see him make the playoffs. This is a tough division to call.

In terms of division vs. division breakdown, I'd rank the Central as the toughest division, followed by the east and then the west. Sorry Marcus. 8)
