pathetic performance, I was actually concerned I might hold things up by not having time for proxies as I sped out to dinner and a movie...quarter to 2, and almost no movement. not very considerate. I'll send you proxies for tommorow foggy, then it'll probably be a couple of days before it gets back to me. :?

If each manager would send a proxy for their next pick, we could get through 25 pretty quickly. There have been several offering to take proxies. If we hear from one manager saying he won't leave a proxy, then we may as well stop at 20...although not sure how that will play out with the fewer possibilities and an autodraft...I'm down to needing four pitchers, 2 of which have to be lefties and starters only and six possible letters in my price range...I'd actually prefer to go the full draft..we just have to be prepared to go another week or more if no proxies are left....

I don't ever have a problem leaving proxies for someone. But, I think this particular draft is leaving some gun shy about leaving proxies. With all the restrictions, and the ever dwindling pool of players to fill necessary roles, it's probably getting very tough for some. Still, I think a good rule of thumb would be that, if you are going to be away from the MB for a few hours, and your pick is coming up in 5 or 6 turns, or less, leaving a proxy with someone would be a good idea. Hey, it's a tough draft. Look at it this way. Half way through the next season (which we WILL start someday), when half of us are dealing with depressingly terrible teams, we'll be wishing we were BACK in pre-season! :wink:

amen. atleast leave a couple of possibilities, if they aren't still there or don't work, so be it. like madge said, we're all pretyy limited at this point, and Im finding, gratefully, I haven't been weasled in a while.
