12+ hours before rosters are final...

This is an odd luck of the draw for me. I've got a Griff team in a pitchers league (2 x Griff, 3 x Forbes, Dunn, Shea, Fenway '86) -- except for the three other teams in my division (Fenway '67, Baker, and Memorial '70). I've thus invsted in a little more pop than I normally would. So far the league has lefty/righty starting pitcher slant of 18/31.

I'm not sure if Banks is my best bet, but having got 'em, he's hard to let go of. Some thoughts I've been mulling over...

1) Subsitute McCosky and Killian for Snodgrass and Taylor. Is the extra pop worth the loss on D and in pitching?
2) Subsitute Parrish for Dempsey. Is it worth it for the road games within my division?
3) Plus up the starters even more with Russo for Taylor and drop my big reliever down to Giusti or Lamp?

Any help would be appreciated.

Taylor to Killian isn't a big dropoff. But I'd rather have C.Jones than McCosky.

Definitely upgrade Dempsey to Parrish.

Speaking of your SPs, I think you should grab two * SPs instead of Taylor and Lanier. Maddox and Liefield would suffice nicely.

Just to confuse you, another opinion.
I'd grab B. Gibson & replace Ruth with Joe D.
Use any savings (after dropping both non * SPs) to get a 2nd starter & fill out your OF.
