Leaving in a couple of hours and will be gone all day. If I hear from anyone able to take my proxies...I will send them before I leave.

Marge, I will be around this morning, but will (hopefully) be taking a 2-3 hour nap this afternoon, after 1pm. And will off-line from 6-10pm EST, give or take.

Can someone get stuck twice in the first 12 picks?

I'll be honest, I don't really understand the complexities/intricities of the "stick picks" theme. I know we are all getting stuck with two additional players (above the drafted 25), that they cannot total over $10m, and that we must keep them on our rosters all season. I believe they are immune to all other theme requirements/restrictions. Can they be traded for someone else's stick picks? Beyond this, I am ignorant of any additional relevance/strategy of the theme. I will just follow the lead of everyone else, I reckon. :?

hey, if we keep at this current pace, maybe we can still be selecting after pitcher's and cathers report next week...or maybe when atg3 comes out. anybody else have any silly pipe dream of getting this done this weekend...only a couple of rounds left.

[b:24584f9ed5]Question:[/b:24584f9ed5]

I don't have a Pilgrim yet, nor will I be able to get one until after the autodraft. I assume that this is OK, since there is no language in the Pilgrim rule which suggests otherwise. Only that a Pilgrim is required at all times during the season.

Even if someone can show me otherwise, it is unclear what the penalty would be, since AP's penalty only applies to his theme.

I also assume that there will be little motivation to be help the [b:24584f9ed5]defending champion[/b:24584f9ed5].

Sticks can't be used unless they meet the other rules so you could not use a stick pick of Gehringer at 2b if 2b is your .50 spot.....you still need 21 defensively for your starters.......99% certain you can't trade the sticks

Who are the 4 pilgrims left?

Can't trade sticks. they are yours for ever.

Pilgrim compliance must be achieved during live draft. Look at the remaining pilgrims and figure out which player you have to drop to pick up a Pilgrim. We all used up a Jack Bauer Letter on a Pilgrim. To allow a team to get a free letter during the draft isn't kosher.
