OK, I think it's all good now.

For the record, I have dropped Hornsby (in accordance to AP's 24 rule penalty) and replaced him with Jim Hickman. That gave me enough cash to draft Vosmik to platoon with Stargell (Lord help me :roll: ). I only need one more letter, so if you people can resist the tempation to take the guy I need I'll be all set.

I think blacklisting Hornsby is the only fair thing to do at this point.

Allowing a team to add him could unravel the draft. Example: I would have taken him too, changed by sdal.....then Sandberg would have been free...yada yada.

Unless you want him (and no one else wants him) and you have the cash and an easy letter swap available, we should blacklist him.

wanted him too...kind of a mess, athough he'd probably be really hard to aquire at that price in the uncle drop period, and difficult for most of us to fit in under the jack bauer rule, the 21 defense etc. I say either blacklist him completely or shut him out until unc's first godforsaken catch and release torture.
ofcourse criger/candeleria wouldn't create these kinds of concerns...

It would seem that outlawing Hornsby, given the present situation, is the only fair thing to do, at least until after the first required drop period.

My understanding is that criger/candeleria doesn't work because Biggie doesn't have the cap room to add the one extra pitcher (in the avilable letters) now needed.

Hornsby is blacklisted until first Uncle add/drop.

I think the 4th pilgrim, if there is one, is hughes, the sp/rp. bigm's roster now has criger and no candeleria...is that correct, plus hickman replacing hornsby. cap room should be no problem considering the difference between candy and criger and hornsby and hickman. if hughes is the extra pilgrim, he could also have replaced hornsby...
