I didn't do the math but if you were over the cap with no players left to pick to get UNDER The cap then - YES.

[quote:1694b05cbf="modmark47"]I personally have no interest in punishing people. This draft has been a bear. Let's just do what we can to get everyone in compliance, be as fair as we can within reason, and cut everyone some slack, if necessary. :)[/quote:1694b05cbf]

Maybe there is some way to reward those who have gotten it right so far....

Stu Miller/Munger was just a suggested easy remedy, as stated recently, no problem making it reuther who was drafted at a point where picking a rh starter instead would have kept me in compliance. naturally I would have done that if I'd interpreted the opposite rule to mean four starters, atleast two of which must be pure starters. Im more than ready to remove reuther and replace with a rh R starting pitcher...then my roster would be ready to go. can't wait for the stick pix, athough I'll be going near the end with between 400,000 and 1/2m left depending on the roster fix ruling.

Quick in and out... I think I may have violated the 24 because I need a pitcher with my last pick and none left within my restaints. I need to look over, but work got me bogged down. Working 7 days a week... 12 to 14 er day. Will try to put my list together to see where I actually stand. Sorry for the hold up guys.

[b:e264d56463]commish[/b:e264d56463] - i have a back-up (claud derrick) who can play my .5M position (ss) and is worth more than .5M. i think this is not allowed.

anyways, ill wait a ruling.

Spicki...a plus .50 on the roster is not illegal...however, you must have ATLEAST one backup, if not more at your .50 position, and "do everything in your power to make sure only a .50 player plays at that postion" when there's an injury. obviously none of us can completely control hal.

AP: Is the gist of the penalty salary cap related?

Can we gain a consensus?

here are my thoughts.

Big should be given an opportunity to keep Hornsby.

Others who needed little/quick fixes should be penalized by having to DH their back-up Nickel player for a series against a team which did NOT need such a fix.
