Ever consider Strat-o-league Face to face for Alchohol abuse

Postby ADAMKISAILUS » Fri Feb 16, 2007 8:13 am

I am curious to know if anyone has ever considered setting up a strat-o-league for those who used to abuse alchohol or recovering alcoholics. Not that I am one, but I do find that sitting down to a board game and running strategy captures my interest more than many vices in this world. There is an intellectual element to all of this that is most alluring- thank you TSN and thank you ultimately Hal Richman for this amazing product!

Besides, it goes well with martinis and hors d'oevres AND beer and pretzels. Believe me, I'm one of those sushi eaters....

Bernie,

Thanks for the update and the constant work to make this product better. Without your efforts, the game would become bland. Early March to me means first week so I will be saving room on the credit card. And just like Puckin, looking forward to my (I say this loosely) Cardinals getting their much deserved rings.

Berine, have one idea for you - can you tweak my account to give homefield advantage all year round to my teams only or maybe just install a default that lets me win. My win % in 2006 was so horrible I almost quit playing, started playing online holdem and came back to strat as my personal finances started dwindling.

Anyway, thanks for your efforts and looking forward to 2007 strat.

Jay

My interest in Strat is such that my wife would probably be delighted if I developed an interest in porn, gambling or booze! :D

THANKS, BERNIE!

have you ever thought about putting a cash box when making a trade. sometimes it is very hard to match up salaries. if you had a cash box it could fill in the difference and make trades easier.
