How about double time leagues!!!

Bernie,

Can we open up for consideration "double time" leagues with games played at Noon and Midnight? It should be no additional burden on the game infrastructure/servers, it will make SOM online more profitable for TSG by cycling through seasons more quickly and provide me a better outlet for my noew obsessive compulsive disorders that this game has caused me to develop :-)

Of course this would be a league setting similar to salary cap so managers that like the current pace would still be able to have it available.

I think this idea has merit. Often I find in the middle of the season that I am bored with the pace of the game. You know that period of time between when it is still early to panic and make a bunch of moves when your pre-season masterplan seems to the be flagging and the 80 to 90 games mark when other owners are more willing to deal.

It would be wonderful if that time period could move as latorrer suggests in double time. To me there seems like a lot of pomp and circumstance that you have to go through in a season and there are certainly times when nothing really goes on in the league. Early in the season most owners just stand pat so the initial two weeks (42 games) is just a warm up. Now imagine if that could be taken care of in only a week's time?

I would imagine this idea wouldn't appeal to every owner as my experience has taught me that some owners take meticulious care to ensure that every angle is covered each and every night. So the notion of having to prep for two series a day in perhaps two, three or ten leagues could be daunting. But at the same time there has to be a number of owners like myself who have a plan and just want to see it executed as quickly as possible.
