TOP 50 Challenge League

I was interested, but I've only had 6 '69 teams (2 playoffs -1champ) and therefore not in the Top 50, so I didn't qualify.

Interest might have been supressed by the commitments required by the live draft format. I woulda jumped in, if it was a plain ol' auto-draft.

I still have atleast one credit around for the 1969 game, but haven't checked into this board in a long time.

I'm #62 in 1969, so you'd have to stretch the rules, but I'd do it if it were auto-draft. Maybe we could do unique stadium on the message boards and then go to an auto for the players.

Larry, I'll join if you want to try and resurrect your idea! I'm ranked #15 in the '69 game and have had some success......so bring on the best of the best!!! :D I think Andrew got it right. I only came over here to the '69 board because I saw the message on the '69 scrubs league we were in together.

It's not clear to me if people are interested in doing this as an autodraft. If so, I'd be interested (as noted above), but we'd need to clarify whether we are still doing unique stadiums (in which case we'd still need the lotto thing to establish draft order), and whether the stadium draft would come before the autodraft (which I would think it should.)

Anyway, if y'all decide to go ahead, please let me know by PM, or post here. I'll try to check in periodically.

I'm in no matter what's decided. Straight auto draft with whatever stadium you want seems to be easiest - and, if you think about it, makes this league more competitive.

Anyone who's played against me can easily figure out what I try to do strategy wise; I'm sure everyone else in the top 50 can make the same claim. With a league full of guys with some history, what an interesting auto draft it could be.

can the thread title be changed so that "cancelled" is no longer on there? That might be keeping people away from even checking in on this.
