Not THAT'S impressive! From Knepper, yet. And 11 innings at that. Wow! I wonder if you were tempted to drop him with that 4-11 record going in to the game? Maybe Knepper knew he was pitching for his job? This should find a place in the record book, I would think. 8)

i think what is just as impressive is that he pitched 11 innings using only 122 pitches. Guess he got a lot of groundball outs.

I think that game IS a whole season for anyone south of Pete.

Congrats.

That is remarkable!!!

On the flip side to the keep him now theory... In a league I'm in, Lefty Leifield threw back-to-back gems earlier this season (no-no, perfecto), but with a 5-9 record and ERA well over 5.00 - in Y56 nonetheless - I am considering dumping him now to improve my offense.... and maybe backhandedly improving the pitching.....

Knepper.... of all pitchers..... that's impressive. And no slouch of a lineup against him...

CongratS!!!

Well, I might be in the minority here, but I think it sucks and I will protest the game, the umpires, the quality of the hot dogs, the walkoff homer by Cleon Jones, and the fact that my team is starting to play like their Pythagorus translator says they should. It's all slipping away, and the Bob Kneppers of the world are taking advantage of me!

Double crap!

Nice job Tim....I've noticed that you have the knack to get a little more out of certain pitchers than most of us...that's your trademark...Don't give your secrets away too cheap...  Bobby
