Five starting pitchers??

Yes. When you drop 24 you must pick up his replacement right away in the same transaction, not as a follow up transaction.

If you had 25 then you could drop 24 with out picking up a replacement.

Thank you all. Now I know. Never done it before. Wasn't sure how that would work and didn't want to make a mistake.

[b:683af413ee]Matthew[/b:683af413ee]:

If you're ever in doubt, be sure to look at the information on all parts of the screen. The game won't let you make a mistake. For instance, if you click on the salary price ([i:683af413ee]Release[/i:683af413ee]) of a position player on a roster with minimum roster requirements, you'll see this on the right side of the screen:

You must pick up a replacement for this player. Your roster must have at least 24 players. [/color:683af413ee]

If you don't want to release this player, hit the "back" button on your browser, or return to your team roster.[/color:683af413ee]

By hitting the salary price (under "[i:683af413ee]Release[/i:683af413ee]") you're taken straight to the free agent pool (where the salaries say [i:683af413ee]Buy For[/i:683af413ee]) to make your swap. You wouldn't be allowed to do it wrong if you wanted to. The game is pretty user friendly that way, which will only seem easier as you get more familiar with it.
