Had my 1st 70s draft run last night. Went a whole 15 for 25 and have number 2 pick in waivers. The team who has number 1 pick has a lot better looking team than I do. The only move I would do on that team would be to dump Mays and take Otis for CF. My team is just leaving me scratching my head and wondering what will happen with the waivers tomorrow.

Andrew, that's the thing about the 70s and 80s, you don't necessarily know if your team looks good or not! All your players hit their best years, and you will look great.......if they all hit their worst years, you will be scrambling to find replacements early and often. Either way, it is an interesting adventure in those random player games. Good luck.

The number 1 waiver pick was Jackson and the person dumped Valentine. So I got Otis in place of Monday. Had to scamble around in FA in a DH league and dropped Rice to get a DH combo instead of Oglivie and Larry Parish. :shock: And upgrade the bull pen.
