help with batting order

4. McLemore, Mark (S) 3B
5. Thomas, Frank (R) DH
6. Jeter, Derek (R) SS
7. Lawton, Matt (L) RF
8. Swisher, Nick (S) 1B
9. Boone, Bret (R) 2B

Lineup vs. RHP
CHANGE THIS LINEUP
1. Alfonzo, Edgardo (R) 3B
2. Beltran, Carlos (S) CF
3. Rodriguez, Ivan (R) C
4. Ford, Lew (R) LF
5. Thomas, Frank (R) DH
6. Jeter, Derek (R) SS
7. Lawton, Matt (L) RF
8. Boone, Bret (R) 2B
9. Swisher, Nick (S) 1B

I just need some help with this order. Thomas has the highest OBP so I wanted to put him lead off but then I got some speedy runners and base stealers so I can't exactly have them batting behind Thomas. Is this the best I can do or could I improve the order? Thanks.

Don't know your players all that well, but at first sight I don't think I'd play Beltran 2nd. usually like to have a guy with higher avg so as to move the runner, hopefully to third or home, not just walk him to second. Just my opinion though. Watch out for DP on top of your lineup.

Nope..not a theme league. Don't like the team? :( Yeah, I only put Alfonzo in against lefties. McLemore against righties...doin pretty well too.
