kotsay vs. finley

You should always keep Kotsay IMO. Finley could work in Safeco, but I had him be mediocre in Coors. Below are some Kotsay stats.

Yankee-191 29 11 6 20 12 2 1 .335 .487 .381
Petco- 419 46 25 6 49 31 2 2 .325 .432 .372
Fenway-629 105 30 17 92 64 3 5 .337 .475 .393

Kotsay obviously won't always be that good, but as you can see he's definitely capable of putting up great numbers.

I would keep Kotsay/ Hafner over Beltran/ Burnitz

Kotsay has been outstanding for me and I try to alway place him on my team.
Beltran sucks for the money, I would rather have Hunter over him.
Burnitz is good, but Hafner is better because you would face more RHP than LHPs and Hafner is not that bad against lefties.

[quote:5302500af5]Finley, was happy with...in Petco by the way. [/quote:5302500af5]

God I hope you're right. I'm "stuck" with him so I went out and got Bocachica for a platoon, I hope he'll be OK. Like others have said I've seen him hit .230 even in Coors. He DOES have a decent number of natural HRs on his card, I hope he'll be OK hitting eighth.

I actually had him higher up in my batting order but I'm sure he will be ok for you in eighth. good luck.

Did you play him both ways? A lot of hitting parks in the league? Can you post his stats?

Thanks.

These are his stats for me. I played him both ways. My park was Petco...and there were TWO other Petco's in my division. OBP wasn't so hot but I was happy with his numbers.

588 66 15 29 93 40 13 0 .252 .435 .296

Other parks: two Wrigley's, Kauffman, Bank One, Pro Player, couple more Petco's.

That sounds a lot like my league. .293 OBP can kill you, but a more than decent number of HRs. Thanks.
