Anyone want to reveal top five picks? Given the parameters of this league, I predict one of the toughest autodrafts in a long time. My list was (I think):

Lloyd Waner
Pie Traynor
Pete Rose
Earl Battey
Rusty Kuntz

It's rare that I put together such a big-budget pitching staff and it definitely affected my roster choices. That, and my rather reflexive choice of Griffith. I wonder if a high HR, low singles ballpark is really the way to go in this league rather than the traditional low-BPHR pitchers park I chose.

We shall see!

I think my top 5 were:
1. Rizzutto
2.Sandberg
3.Waner(which I see I won't get)
4. Rose (see above)
5. Sanguillen

Turns out this is perfect timing. My hard drive crashed on Friday afternoon and this is the first computer access I have had since I last posted.

I've signed on to so many theme leagues over the last week I can't remember what my draft order was for this one. I do think I went with high BPHR rate for righties, and low singles and HRs for all else, though.

I think I had Kuntz up there, but maybe not as high as fifth.

I decided to do that though I have had many second thoughts since then and will be the one to screw it up even if it is a good idea. I also went for more than a little bullpen figuring the starters have a better chance of being pulled by Hal. that may not leave enough offense though so......
