SOM 2007 Teaser #3

SOM 2007 Teaser #3

Postby bernieh » Thu Mar 08, 2007 12:34 pm

Okay, this is more like a PRE-teaser... a teaser to the real teaser that is, because I'm still working on writing up a detailed description of this new enhancement to the game.

SOM 2007 will feature big improvements to the Computer Manager's strategic capabilities when it comes to in-game position-player substitutions (e.g. injuries, defensive replacements, etc.). For instance, when one of your stars goes down with an injury early in a given game, the Computer Manager will make more intelligent decisions than before on who to bring in to replace him.

That's all I have for now, but I will definitely have a more in-depth explanation of what we've accomplished later today.

Just in from the [b:a9bdb09753][i:a9bdb09753]Sporting News[/i:a9bdb09753][/b:a9bdb09753]

[b:a9bdb09753]March 7th, 2007[/b:a9bdb09753]

In a surprising move late last night, the owners and player representitives went to New York to meet with league. Representing the League was Bernie and in a Back room meeting closed to the press and outsiders a deal was struck to address the seemingly bizarre behavior of HAL.

Bernie assured the owners that the League was well aware of the goings on of HAL and have also launched an internal investigation into the allegations of innappropriate actions and behaviors concerning individual team moves that are off the radar.

It has been rumored that HAL has tried to gain control of all transactions concerning the outcome of individual games for his own personal gain. Rumors circulating are that HAL may be on Crack and also may have placed wagers on a multitude of games and has tweaked the system to assure himself of winning those wagers.

It has also been mentioned that HAL has been seen out late at night with the likes of [i:a9bdb09753]Paris Hilton[/i:a9bdb09753] and [i:a9bdb09753]Brittney Spears [/i:a9bdb09753]wearing nothing but a jock-strap and waiving wads of cash. Also included in the entourage was [i:a9bdb09753]Pac-Man Jones[/i:a9bdb09753], [i:a9bdb09753]Ron Artest[/i:a9bdb09753], and [i:a9bdb09753]Rick Tocchet[/i:a9bdb09753].

Noticebly missing from the group was [i:a9bdb09753]Jessica Alba[/i:a9bdb09753] who has reportedly gotten back together with League Representitive Bernie.

It is suspected that the talks may lead to a reduction in the every day role of HAL and put Team Management back into the hands of the owners.

A decision is expected later today: Stay Tuned
