Guys,
My mom passed away yesterday suddenly after having been home for two days recuperating from her first bout of chemo. The visiting nurse didn't like the vitals she took and my father and her called for an ambulance. They told them to take her to the hospital she had been at for the past 3 weeks, but apparently she went into cardiac arrest on the way there, so they took her to the closest one instead. My Dad, who was following behind them didn't see them turn and so he ended up at the wrong hospital, and by the time he got back to the other one she had passed away and he had to find out she had been calling out to him in her last moments. It's killing him inside that it happened this way. Meanwhile, I was back at work in Tampa after having got out of the hospital Friday night with the diagnosis of Diverticulitis and a bunch of meds to take and a list of foods to avoid for the rest of my life. I would have seen my Mom today since this week's event ironically was here in Orlando. Now, I am missing it as I have to take care of all the family arrangements.
I am apologize for any inconvenience my absence is causing and thanks again for your continued thoughts and prayers for my family.
