2007 Starting pitching

[quote:ed1f7e2d78]As for me, I'm going back to the formula of the 2005 game: average starters, strong bullpen, balanced hitting.

Average starters is pretty much what your going to get , 2005 season had alot more "studs" . One good thing is you can build a pretty decent pen for all kinds of prices ...but of course , your going to need a good pen more than ever .

I think with the pitching what it is ...........defense is going to be that much more important this year.

Another weak point to go with the weak SP.

There are 27 players with a 1 D rating .

2 Catchers
4 1B
1 2B
6 3B
4 SS
1 LF
8 CF
1 RF

Actually, there are 29 1's...

2 C
5 1B
1 2B
6 3B
4 SS
2 LF
9 CF
1 RF

That's 30 but Ichiro is two of them.

Grab some bats - and have fun that's what I say. I like Coors this year, with 2-3 years of the humidor taking full effect.

The pitching sucks for sure, but there is a secret weapon for vets with a ratings book/disk. I don't call [i:0088325274]myself[/i:0088325274] a vet in the online world, but there is a way to keep the oppositions offense at bay, while still loading up on offense yourself (i.e. a lower but semi-effective pitching budget).

My closer combo costs $1.4M. We'll see. I know I'll blow a few, then score 3 in the bottom of the 9th to win.

Championship teams will likely be solid defensively all the way around. "1's" up the middle who can swing a stick will rule.

That's not "The Secret" though.
