HAL and Lineups

I am just curious. When a player is injured and HAL picks a replacement in the line up, how does he go about choosing where to place him? I ask this as I just had a player get injured for one game and Glanville played in his place, HAL put him 9th. Castillo was my prefered #9 but was hitting 8th. Does HAL have a different interpretaion of how to build a line up and if so, what is it? Is it different to the "classic" Strat line up of good OB at #9, worst hitter 8th etc??

i think at least for me hal picks the lineup that he knows will screw you the most
