Cummings, I noticed your injury bug when I was looking over your lineup. I'm curious to see what HAL will do if one of your remaining 9 hitters gets hurt. And I thought my injury situation was bad earlier in the week. Ouch! Hopefully we can play each other at full speed in a few days.

I believe a pitcher would play the field... saw it last season with Darren Dreifort stepping in to play shortstop one game. Can't remember if it was one of my own teams, or if someone posted it on the message board, though.

uh-oh...heard some rummors that Mr. Diggler's therapy is not going to well, he was last seen running up and down hallways completely starkers with a broom on his hand yelling with a weird eastern european accent "Zee Pyrro schnooka bum iz back, zee pyrro schnooka bum iz back!"

maybe ET can lend him a few geishas to calm him down a bit.
As for my hoodies, we'll dance the seventh inning rally-monkey-I-will-survive dance on his honor hoping for a full recovery.

My geico agent returned from his succesful mission to the edumcator's front office! Trouble is the last time I saw him he was selling insurance to my own players :shock:

BTW- I got a congratulations postcard from the Samurai...a wonderfully photographed and framed picture of the entire team's toe nails and testi-balls reading "wishing you were here...and you soon will be"...Richie Sexson got a hold of it and promptly put it in his locker :roll:

Tyber, I thought you said your teams always start "slow", Kind of
early to be winning 6 in a row isn't it ?

The Ashby "D" Balls have just announced that they will no longer
participate in league "illegal substance" tests. Ashby Manager Barry
Gibb says that his team will no longer give urine samples to the league.
"What goes on in our clubhouse is our business". Gibb would not go
as far to say that Steroid use would be "encouraged" , but he did say
that he would not look down on any player that did whatever he could
to help the team.

As team owner, I'm looking the other way on this one. I must admit
that I'm starting to get a little bit worried. I should be hitting much much
better on the road.

We have a drug testing policy?! :shock: UMMMMMM...My team will be bowing out of the drug testing for the next 30 or so days.

Jeff...Were you absent during the first week when my team got thoroughly thumped by my own division?! I said slow START not slow SEASON!

Tyber,

I think I overheard your team complaining about being a little
tired this week. It might be in your best interest to maybe "sit" some
of your starters for tonight's series. Your team seems to be rolling
along nicely, no sense pushing it.
By the way The Disco Balls would like to know if the roof at
Skydome will be open or closed tonight ? Some of my players like
to stargaze during the game.
Also manager Barry Gibb was wondering if maybe him and his
brother could have an hour before the game to perform all their hits
from the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack, I'm sure your fans and the
players would quite enjoy it. :)
