2007 WHO ARE THE BEST?

Pedro Martinez

Postby johnsain » Sun Mar 25, 2007 2:31 pm

Pedro Martinez is my league's Cy Young leader at the 1/4 point in the season. I love him at my home park Kaufman, but there are 2 other Kaufman's in my own division. That's why I took him.

Funny. On my high-avg Coors team, Ethier is doing the worst of my starting 9.

Garrett Atkins is leading my league in MVP voting for me. Mourneau was up there until recently.

Erik Bedard is dominating my league (8-1, 1.81 era at Shea).

Smoltz is a great starter for under $4M.

Having great luck with Freddy Sanchez and no one in my league wanted him.

Adam Kennedy a good value at 2B.

Laroche is also a good value for left handed slugging.

Ryan Howard is awesome
Wes Helms worth the $$$
Andre Ethier in LF
Bobby Abreu good again if you don't need HRs
Jered Weaver and Roger Clemens good
Bob Wickman best cheap closer

You guys have me revved up for 2007. Thanks for the info. Jus wonderin how you see 2007 compared to 2006? Do you prefer one year to the other? Why?

I'm new to SOM and have only played three teams in 2006 so far. But I'm enjoying it.

Here is a Cell team

Postby BRADSANDBOTHE » Mon Apr 02, 2007 2:25 pm

21 games into the new year and just dominating up to this point

A lot of people were critical of this team, but so far so good.

Off to a 15-6 start...waiting for the roof to cave in.

I am averaging almost an error a game, which is not good, but I have hit 57 homers in the first week. Next closest team has 34.

On pace for 440 homers....obviously that won't happen, but still should hit over 300 for the year if everyone stays relatively healthy.

I love this team so far......
