Two Dozen runs...NO HOMERUNS!

am finding that despite the imbalance in salaries, pitching seems to be key, atleast in the early going of '07...but couldn't resist this lopsided lambasting...WITHOUT ONE HOMERUN. not only that, robertson went the distance on a 3-hitter the other way. oh, and I won 2 of 3, and fell OUT of first place!

and how bout pudge 7 FOR 7?! he's now got a 9-game win streak with 21-hits in the span, although it's only raised his average to .331.

Wainwright deserved better. You'd think a manager might remove a guy once he's let 12 straight batters get on base in the 8th (not including the sac bunt), but heck trot him back out there for the 9th.

not to mention the fact he'd come on in relief in the FIRST inning! talk about a slow hook/mop-up! but hey, those 9-straight reaching base, the last eight on hits, including 3-doubles, were all seeing-eye cheapies.
