Ah, ok.....I think I know why. Sweeney would've put me over the $100 mil cap. That's why it skipped to Shelton.

This could be a problem. I was under the impression that we get 35 players now, no matter what the total cost is.....then afterwards, select 25 guys that is TSN autodraft compliable ($100 mil or under). But the way this system is setup, we would have to draft 35 guys AND stay under the $100 mil cap.

Penn or socal.....anything we could do about this? Maybe I could pick some scrub in Sweeney's place until this problem is fixed?

Albert... you are correct.... there was not suppossed to be a cap limit on the 35 players... just on the 25 we use in 05 or 06

Strange. I just checked and I SHOULD still be able to still fit Sweeney's salary of $4.11 mil on my roster....even if the cap was set at $100 mil. If I added his salary of $4.11 mil to my current team value of $94.67 mil, I should be at $98.78 mil.

But when I try and manually pick Sweeney, it reads:

I don't know. Hope this can be fixed :( :?

Add every pick you have left at .50 plus the 3.84 and see if it comes up to the 100m.... that may be why it says that.

94.67 + 3.83+.50+.50+.50 = 100 and 25 picks

guess the first 25 have to meet 100 mil

That's gotta be what it is Doc.

In any case, it needs to be fixed or adjusted. I dont think anyone was prepared to keep their first 25 guys under $100 mil. I know I wasn't.

no glitch, the league is set for 25 man rosters with a cap at 100 mil.....I did wonder what the setting was but I havent had time to check, just like I didnt have time to even realize this was a 100 mil league not a 80 mil league.

We should be able to draft over 100 mil correct? If so I will change that tonight.

I was able to change the cap to 300, now we can draft without restrictions. Of course 2005 teams are still 100 mil caps.

That's ok, geekor. I appreciate the fact that someone recognizes it was wrong...although I don't even know if vsick (the guy who took Sweeney) is aware that he took Sweeney. It may have been a proxy pick. Judging by his lack of posts here lately, it's likely he didn't even know of the problem.

But like I said, that's ok. One pick (especially in the 22 round) will not make or break my draft. Besides that, I have since found a suitable replacement for Sweeney in Branyan. So, at this point, I think it's better to move on.
