Anyone seen worse numbers from Sam Rice & Sanguillen?

I'm posting primarily to shame both these guys into playing better. I'm in Forbes Field, after 48 games:

Rice 185 17 11 1 18 9 3 2 .243 .373 .279 E 3.59M
Sanguillen 153 12 2 4 16 7 0 2 .203 .307 .233 2L 3.01M

Those are pretty pathetic numbers for both of them in a park they both should be doing well in . Where are you batting them ? Maybe some tinkering will wake them both up .

my team:

c Sanguillen
1 Foxx
2 Gehringer
ss Wagner
3 Steinfeldt
lf Meusel
cf D. Dimaggio
rf Rice

Sangy is batting 8th & has batted 8th from the get go. I've moved Rice around to no avail, but am open to any suggested orders anyone may have.

Just finished up in Royals with Rice hitting 4th vs RHP and 5th vs LHP (on a light-hitting team). He put up the following...

665 114 35 5 111 43 36 9 .323 .432 .362

I get the impression this is over-achieving for him, but I was obviously very pleased.

I actually moved him up to 4th vs rhp recently to boost his self esteem, but I have nothing to show for it.

You really have a light hitting squad there also . I usually lead Rice off . He has good speed , can set the table . Give it a try , can't hurt .
