80M DH league needs a few more

I put together a draft order for an $80 mil team planning on playing in a DH league.
When I tried to select a league, there are maybe 500 private leagues most of which have no teams in them. I don't understand why they all exist.
There are no DH leagues even close to filling, so now what? I don't think it will let me change my draft order or change the salary cap at this point. Do $80 mil DH leagues ever appear?

if you have not entered any of the league yet, then you can still change players park draft order etc ..... if you HAVE entered a league then you are stuck with one of 2 options. You can join a regular league and drop your DH after the draft ..... or you can advertise here on the boards to try and fill the DH league. Since this is ATG and more about the older teams DH leagues don't fill quite as quickly....there was no DH when most of these teams played. If you haven't entered a league you can also change salary cap ...DH leagues fill quicker in 100M leagues I think... or one other solution...you can leave the team in a DH league and jsut wait around for it to fill.... no idea on the wait time for that...but it will not be quick. Hope this helps.

I entered the Rooters in the "Midwest Mania" league $80 mil, DH. All we need is 11 more teams. Anyone interested is more than welcome to join.

I have played DH leagues and will again. Like all the nonstandard options they can be a little difficult and time consuming to fill. The secret is patience.

Nobody it seems wants to get in a league and then sit there for days or possibly more. So even those who like your league options will watch and wait for it to get close to filling. So you may have half a dozen or more watching and waiting and not know it. Here is what will happen. You will sit there for a while as a team joins here and there adding a team every few days or so. Then one day it will cross that magic threshold that makes people think it is approaching filling and it will suddenly fill in a day.

So:
Be patient. If you create it they will join... eventually
Create or join the DH league you want AND STAY THERE
Advertise occasionally on the boards so everyone knows it is there
