*SP and Rest

Quick question.

I have all *SP. I ended the semi-finals series using Peavy (my #1), and I expect that he can't go in the finals series until Game #4, but as I look at the extended schedule and anticipated pitching matchups it shows Peavy going in game 3. Do the pitchers get an extra day of rest when the series changes venue (like a off day for travel)? I assume that is not the case.

Yes, there are two rest days between the end of the season and the semis, and one rest day between the end of the semis and the finals.

if you click on the "per game starters" after the season ends, you will see the rest days included in the schedule.
