The three teams I have going now are seeing about the same L/R splits for pitchers and hitters. Pitchers see a roughly 40/60 split facing L/R hitters. Hitters, though, are seeing about a 30/70 split facing L/R pitchers.

Conclusion: There are a lot of platoons. Pitchers need to be balanced. Also, if you don't hit well against righties, you're sunk.

Actually, in the early going, pitchers need to be better vs. RH especially righties. Everyone plays the RH leaning parks, and there's not a tremendous crop of LH batters.
