Markp65,

You are so very correct :) :)

Went to all 3 games in St. Louis in WS....

Was in Columbia (University of Missouri) which is half way between KC and St. Louis and was there for the infamous game 6.

At a party following game 6 a huge brawl broke out between KC fans and St. Louis fans. It was because of "The Call"......after all the bruises healed, I felt that at least I had a little retribution for that "Call"

I am sure I left my mark on a few guys, but I definitely had a few days wearing sunglasses after that one. 8) ....nothing like a lot of beer and a good controversy to get the blood boiling.

Of course that was 22 years ago and I am much more mature and know that fighting doesn't solve problems.......whatever.....Where is Denkinger

Markp65,

I cracked up when I saw your reply, I have a story about Busch Light as well.

I managed a nightclub in Warrensburg MO and we got to go tour the AB facilities down at the Lake Of the Ozarks and go out on "The Bud Boat"

It was a courtesy of AB and they rewarded certain accounts that were highest in certain markets with this little perk.

When Busch Light was in the testing market before it was launched, my group was the first in Missouri to get a taste. It was in a can and didn't taste all that great, but to be one of the very first to try a new product was kinda cool.

Now you know the whole story

Curt Schilling played in a few leagues back in 2002, with the 2001 set. I think his big frustration was with HALs use of the bullpen. Was pretty fun playing with him though, he was ultra competitive.

I was able to confirm that it was indeed him (I'll be glad to explain how offline if you want to PM me). Him and Glanville were also big into playing Everquest, which was another of my passions before I discovered Wow.
