[quote:2139e88905="msheaf1"]Sorry Kev but they filled my holes best of anyone. It's scraey that they have usable pitchers.[/quote:2139e88905]

Yeah, I figured you would take them. I wanted Carroll, Helton, and Holliday the most. Yes, it is amazing that the Rockies do have a handful of good pitchers. Who would have thunk it? When I lived in Denver in the mid-90s, the Blake Street Bombers were scoring runs in bushels. Any start who could keep his ERA below 5.50 could win 20 games on that team. Too bad........no one could pitch in those days! The Rockies could have have beaten the Braves in that first round of their only playoff appearance.

3. Martin - 753 - Twins
4. Bobschwartz - 548 Blue Jays
5. Genegrid - 544 White Sox (Public Proxy)
6. Parkav - 471 - LAA
7. Doctax - 370 - Red Sox
8. CATom - 320 - the little train that MITE = FLORIDA
9. 69Cubs - 277 - Tigers
10. Risden - 268 - RANGERS
11. Assmeriten (trade) - Cardinals
12. Adojake - Oakland A's

12. Ado_Jake - Indians
11. Assmeriten (trade) - Orioles only team left with a 2b and a SS
10. Risden - Astros
9. 69Cubs - Phillies (proxy)
8. CATOM - San Diego
7. DocTax - Dodgers
6. ParkAv - Braves
5. GeneGrid - Mariners (my pitching needs that CF)
4. Bobschwartz - Giants ( I mean Omar/Schmidt)
3. Martin - Rockies
2. Ehlekev - Proxy Reds
1. Sykes - Pirates

Now that I took Pitt, I am wondering who others would have taken.

Pit has Bay for LF, Sanchez to replace A-Slob and Duke as the 4th man in the rotation. Bullpen is cheap and compliments the Yankees quite well. Nady can play 1B for Giambi. Looked like a very good fit there.

I would have taken AZ to go with the Yankees. Add Webb to rotation and of course Hudson (2b 1) to give you an awesome double play combo.

[quote:9858583b64="parkav97"]I thought about taking Milwaukee for their starting pitching with my second choice. Was a little surprised everyone passed them up although their defense is terrible, and they dont' have a lot of bats.[/quote:9858583b64]

So did I. Passed for the same reason.

If we do not load today I may not be available until Tuesday. My daughter is here for spring break and we are going to see "Wicked" on Sunday at the Pantages and then spend Monday on Catalina Island doing a little parasailing and sightseeing. :D
