what has gone wrong?

I've played strat for a while now and have had some bad teams, but never have I had a pitching staff be this terrible? I thought I had picked the right starters for US CELL, all allowing few HR's, but they're awful. Is this just horrible luck(bad rolls) or have I done something wrong?

Look at Halladay he's 1-8 his only win came in a one inning relief appearance in the 3rd game of the seaon. these are his starts

1. 8 IP 11 ER
2. 5 IP 6 ER
3. 4.2 IP 6 ER
4. 3.2 IP 8 ER
5. 3.1 IP 9 ER
6. 5.2 IP 5 ER
7. 5.2 IP 3 ER -*THIS IS HIS BEST START GOT A ND
8. 6 IP 7 ER
9. 5 IP 4 ER

My bullpen is ok, my hitting is nothing to writer home to momma about but, what can I do about my starters?

Pitching has got me befuddled as well.

I've got Halladay in Kaufmann and he's a X-Mas tree right now, throwing batting practice.

The SP's that seem to be performing for me are the guys with straight AND BPHR's, no matter where they throw. Guys like Pedro and Maine, low # of hits on their cards.

You have to live with the bombs but, nothing else seems to be working.

Had a chance to look @ your squad, and I gotta say, this team would have been better off in a neutral OR pitching park.

Not enough BPHR's with your hitters.

Ya I got the pitching I wanted in the draft (which did me alot of good), but as far as the hitters I wanted it didn't go so good.

What's the rest of the division look like?
Parks?
LHSP/RHSP?
Lefty/Righty bats?

Looks like another lefty bat is what you need. You're seeing twice as many RH's.

Not too late to right the ship and rolls will be coming your way soon...

-Ameriquest
-Miller Park
and another US CELL

pitching fairly balanced between left/right.

hitting does lean to the left, but not necessarily that dominant over Right pitching.

there's a couple lefty starters I can pick up, Francis and Capuano. Not sure where I'd add the lefty bat though (that would be worth adding). I might have to look at trades. If I don't turn it around soon this season is over.

There is no way my starters should be this terrible though.

I think the answer is that anything can really happen in US Cell with regards to pitchers getting hammered. I have Wang at 6-0 in the Cell. I think that is why people generally go with cheaper pitchers, because even the best can suck, so why spend big $$$.
