Hi everyone,

I have been getting a few inquiries on Thome & have made a few tentative offers. Since we often hear "I wish I had known" when a prime talent is on the trade block, I'm opening him up for offers but with a deadline of Friday for anyone that wants to bid on his services. My needs are pretty specific:

1) improve SLG vs RHP from either RF or reasonable downgrade from Thome's SLG vs RH

2) improve SLG vs LHP at RF, C, or 1B

3) improve current SPs without sacrificing future value

In addition to Thome, guys I could be willing to deal are: Saunders, G Matthews, Laird, Helton, Punto, Victorino, Wolf.

Wow- I had 3 good DH/1B since the end of last season (Thome, Thomas, Ortiz) and haven't had any good offers (almost came close with AFD/niners once). Just an FYI, I have Bonds/Soriano in LF and could really use a solid OF with RF eligibility to platoon with Alou.
