Time Needed

PJ from my experience with live drafts you'd need about three hours to draft Six Rounds unless it might go faster using Penn's site. You have to limit each pick to no more than five minutes. We average somewhere between three and a half to five mintues per pick when we draft the LA-Z-BOY League and we complete six rounds in about three hours and fifteen minutes. Hope this helps in your planning. :)

That, and you need 12 owners...

I wasn't available early last night, so maybe your next effort or just join Simon31's on 12/2/05. That's our next projected "Fast Draft" for his league. Hope you can join. 8)

Things ain't what they used to be...

...it's so, so hard to start a board league nowadays, I've resorted to playing mostly autoleagues again because it requires so much patience...

Not sure if it's the new boards, or the new product (69) siphoning away managers or what, it kind of sucks...

Why not try again? Anybody up for a quick draft tonight? I'm ready and able to start at any time.

12 owners want to frenzy after a quick pick 6 draft?

If we're gonna do a 6 round draft, gotta have a short time limit on picks. That's 72 picks. If we allot 2 minutes per pick, that's roughly 2.5 hours.

We can start earlier and give more time, but it seems the hard part is finding 12 owners.

I guess not...

My window of opportunity is closing rapidly. Maybe another time.

PJ, I would be jumping on this but I've had family in from out of town all week. Your right though, it does seem like it gets harder and harder to fill leagues. I have a couple 69' teams going right now but after ATG, it seems kind of lame. I probably won't be buying anymore teams there for awhile. Don't know how everbody else feels about 69'. (The season I mean!) :D

It's different, no doubt. I haven't gotten as excited about it as ATG.
