I went over to the original PICK A FRANCHISE thread and found that Genegrid was a member so I reviewed the thread in hopes of finding a clue as to what team he may favor. Unfortunately he had the 10th pick so I figure that's not a good sample to use if he's #2.

I sent a message to a club that he's a significant member of asking for an email, cell#.

I've sent messages, PM's. He signed up on 4/16 and didn't appear on our Thread since the Lottery ran. Best that I can determine he appeared on the Message Board in the TOTM IMB on 4/18 which was this past Wednesday.

Given the fact that he is reliable I assume he's not available.

Do we want to the following:

1) Pick his team. As the #2 slot we can't do to much damage. Does anyone know his favorite Franchises from 1969.

2) Wait until Monday evening and then review.

3) Look for a backup by publishing an ad for one.

It's possible he may be tied up or out of town for the weekend. The league filled up pretty fast.

I'm OK with giving him until Monday afternoon PDT (looks like he's in CA). After that, we can decide if something needs to be done.

Once the picks start coming, they may be fast and furious.

We will wait until two rounds are completed and THEN each owner can post his 15-20 protected players form Team One and the 5 protected players from Team Two?

That might make the boards a liitle easier and cleaner to follow.

CHANGE FOR LEAGUE PARTICIPANTS

Based on some comments I would like to change the Free Agent Procedure:

1) Eliminate FA frenzy draft after autodraft.

2) Allow managers to keep all player from their 2 Franchises once the 4 rds have been completed. The 1st. and 2nd rds would still require each mgr. to protect the same number of players but after the 3rd & 4th rds. all remaining players would remain with the original Franchises.
