Like Bob says "MFL" please reconsider we've gotten this far, pace will pick up & you're up to bat shortly. :)

Anyway, since this is a lg with STOCK teams I suggest a rule that we must retain EITHER the actual franchise name such as Baltimore or at least the club's nickname such as Orioles.

This applies to all 12 teams. It will make it much easier to follow; we still can be creative with "half" of the team name. Fair enough? Agreed Bob? I mean it is a stock teams league afterall, it just makes sense this way.

EX: San Diego Friars, or just for you "genegrid" since you picked SF...just an example here...San Francisco SEALS! Yeah, bring back the ol PCL!!!

Hey mfl - thanks for your re-consideration.

Given the nice draft spot that you hold, feel free to leave me (or anyone that picks AFTER you in the first round) your proxy choices via a private message, like this: Choice A, Choice B, etc. and we'll make the pick for you while you are at work, if you do not have free access to the Message Board.

That way, the draft moves along for everyone. At this point in the draft, you won't lose any control over your pick because there are some really solid teams left to choose from...

No matter how it shakes out, I envy your draft spot; you'll get a pretty solid team to begin with in this league.

Bob

Considering I created a team without benefit of knowing which franchises I'd be able to draft, I won't have the proper team nickname once the league starts...
UNLESS someone knows how to change your team name after it's already been registered.

It IS possible to change the team name before the league starts. Wait until you know the correct name and contact TSN - they might take a few days to get to you, but they will change it.
