PICK A FRANCHISE- RD4, franky35 has picked, MFL536 IS UP

Our historical single season sets

Postby Risden » Thu Apr 26, 2007 3:10 pm

I have the second pick and I could ealiy go over $100 million, but I thought it was the intention (implied, not stated) to always stay under $100 million.

I thought we were supposed to work under the $100 cap. Doesn't seem fair to go over at any point ... I think this would give teams with a high draft position an unfair advantage; they can hog the remaining talent.[/quote:bf8353e185]

Rt on Tom. Amen brother! Sorry Frankey, but he's right a cap is a cap. It is what it is--a ceiling, a threshhold for which there can be no going over; any time anywhere, anyway. No manipulations, playing games. It's a cap.

Expansionists !

Postby pcbaseballsims » Thu Apr 26, 2007 6:02 pm

Right on CF17. Love those brown & mustard unis aka Taco Bell.

Appropos the "Friars" in "Mission" Valley.

Ollie's cannon in RF will be a nice fit at Dodger Stadium, one of the oldest stadiums in NL & still one of the most beautiful. Now if most of these stadiums would remove advertising from the of walls--that would be nice.

:)
