Stupid waiver pick limit

Went a whole 11 for 25 in AD for this 1969 team. I have 2nd waiver pick and can only put claims in on 8 players. Be great if I could put 1 claim in for each player I didn't get which would give me 14 picks. Didn't get players like Yaz, Howard, or Bonds. You think I would have had some quality corner outfielders drated. :(

Petrocelli IS a nice start to your team, but I do agree that there should be more than 8 waiver picks. I've only been in one actual 1969 league myself, but every thread seems to indicate that everyone has anywhere between $8-20 million left after the autodrafts.

Seems like 12 or 15 waiver picks would be a great upgrade.

If ever there was a need for a live draft, 1969 is it.

Wonder how this team will now fair? Especially with Murcer at 3B. No real lead off man. Do I dare bat Agee 1st?

Strange looking 8 starters

C Sims
1b Pepitone
2b Knoop
SS Rico
3b Murcer def Davenport
LF Williams
CF Smith
RF Agee

Pitching looks interesting with Tatum as setup/closer and rotation now of Marichal/Gentry/Odom/Dobson. No def catchers left unless I can free up money for Grote.

Gonna be a long season if Murcer is your everyday 3B.

Other 2B choices...Popovich and Helms.
