1. Anyone who wants to join [b:399e5f9b79]and is willing to be patient[/b:399e5f9b79], include your SOMO handle in a slot above and pick a state with a daily 3-number lottery game.

2. Results from the [u:399e5f9b79]Friday, May 11[/u:399e5f9b79] lottery drawings, from high to low, will determine who gets NASCAR Nextel Cup drivers in pole positions 1-10 for the May 12 Darlington race. Late-entry owners will be assigned drivers by [b:399e5f9b79]Late Entry Rules[/b:399e5f9b79] below.

3. Results of the race determine live draft order.
Tentative Divisions (we can change for convenience)--
East = 1, 6, 7, 12
Central = 2, 5, 8, 11
West = 3, 4, 9, 10

4. 19-round serpentine live draft (18-players and stadium) begins [b:399e5f9b79]two weekday mornings after the league is full[/b:399e5f9b79] on somdraft.com (the old penngray site): $80M/DH/5-10-20/Unique Parks.
Due to the long lead time: NO CLOCK. Proxies will be ON... no pressure to use them. casmith528 will be traveling in Europe and may not be able to pick until May 15.

5. On or after the morning of May 21... and IF progress of the draft warrants it, any owner can call for a poll to:
a. shorten the draft by 2 or 4 rounds.
b. extend the draft by 2, 4, or 7 rounds.
c. start the league May 28 (a week early).
d. both a. and c.

9 of 12 votes are required for a poll question to pass.

6. If the live draft is not done by the end of the Wednesday evening before the league start date (May 30 for June 4 / May 23 for May 28 ), the league start date automatically will be pushed back a week.

7. One must set up one's team in SOMO in time for a Friday night autodraft.

8. A draft of 17 rounds or fewer = "weighted waivers" preseason.
May 25 autodraft = "weighted waivers" preseason.
Otherwise... league poll: "frenzy" or "weighted waivers"
Frenzy needs 9 of 12 owners buy-in.

L2. Once league slots 11 & 12 are filled, the Ghost Owner and the two late-entry owners will have lotto numbers drawn. L3. Owners 11 & 12 will be assigned a driver based on a comparison of their drawn lotto# to the Ghost Owner's lotto number.
-a. If both real owners' lotto#s > Ghost Owner's #, real owners get drivers 11 & 12.
-b. If just one real owner's lotto# > Ghost Owner's #, real owners get drivers 11 & 14.
-c. If both real owners' lotto#s < Ghost Owner's #, real owners get drivers 14 & 15.
-d. If one real owner's # = Ghost Owner's #, tying real owner gets driver 13, other owner gets driver 11 or 14 (depending upon > or < Ghost Owner)
