Any Advice?

I have a problem with Jose Reyes. 120 games into the season, he only has 8 stolen bases and has been caught 7 times...

I have it set to "steal more" with "don't steal if held" unchecked. Stealing is also set to aggressive in managerial tactics. I guess the brightside is he has 22 homers and I'm 11 games up in my division, but still, this lack of stealing worries and intrigues me as i venture closer to the playoffs.

Any suggestions?

I 2006 I used the aggressive setting with steal more checked on all 19/15 guys and my team stole 478 bases with the checked guys going early & often. Something doesn't sound right with your situation.

Seems very unusual to me . I just checked my league that finished last night and Jose had 68 sb's and 15 cs plus 19 dingers and 93 rbi's . Being set on steal more and aggressive for stealing you'd think his numbers would be much higher . Try fooling around with the managerial settings . I'd try very aggressive 1st but make sure all your other players who you don't want to go reflect that in the card settings . Keep an eye on your result in managerial section of the stats and look at the boxscores to see what is happening . Finally if that doesn't work then try a normal setting and do the same "watching" of the stats. Good luck .
