American & National League Two Team League LEAGUE IS FULL

Our historical single season sets

Postby STEPHENANDERSON 2 » Tue Nov 29, 2005 1:31 pm

Hate to burst any bubbles.... I have been in 2 team leauges..... picked Cubbies and Tigers. Cubbies finished 2nd in their league... about 6th overall. Santo and Williams did awesome. 2nd base platoon did very well too as did Hundley. Pitching came up below my expectations.,

My tigers are in last place.

Waaaaaaaaaa

Actually, I might be interested in trading down. If anyone has an interest in Detroit, let me know.

btw, this is not based on doctor tax1's statements. I am thinking of going in another direction with the team, trying something new. I usually go for the high Slg teams.

thanks

Hope I did not influence your decision. They are in a tuff division. had injuries 2. Actually started off pretty well. My luck has been little or none in the 69 leagues

Since I have the last AL pick... I think I know who I get.

Oh well, put me in the easy division please

Nah, doctor tax1, you didn't influence my thinking. I am more influenced by my own screwed up thinking...

Also, two teams left in NL: San Diego fighting Chickens and Montreal Canadians (there were probably better hitters on the hockey team.)

Tiger Stadium = slugging

In Tiger Stadium I would think that Kaline,Northrup, Horton, Freehan and Cash would way out perform their cards.

Grab a National League team with middle D and I'd think with the pitching(fair starters and a sweet pen) Detroit has you'd be fine.

San Diego and ???

Yep, I had the Friars as one of the possabilities.

I'd be happy with Montreal. Depth in pitching and some decent hitters with several good backups.
