Pitchers Bat 9th

In NO-DH leagues why aren't you given the optuion of batting the pitcher anywhre in the lineup? Odds are you bat him 9th anyway but, just curious.

It's conceivable that in [i:fdec2f14ba]rare[/i:fdec2f14ba] situations you [i:fdec2f14ba]might[/i:fdec2f14ba] want to bat a pitcher higher in the lineup, but it's just not done. In any case, I believe this is how the CD-ROM game, on which the Online game is based, is set up.
